My First-Ever Dress

Description

This is the first thing I've ever made, period. It was a fun day I spent figuring out how to put it together, but in the end, it came out alright. I messed up the pleats a bit, but for my first-made item, its not bad. I didn't use a pattern for this, I just played it by eye.

Black eyelet, black poplin, elastic

What a great job! For your first ever garment it looks amazing! I love the accessories you put with it. Your room looks like mine did when I was your age, covered with fashion pages from magazines! Keep sewing, you've got a good thing going!

i love it!!!
i hardly use patterns either , but i can never make triangle boob bit lol, mine always turns out weird so any tips would be great lol

I love this dress! Congrats! i especially liked the small details, like the belt and the yellow tank, it looks great with it! it gives it some spark! :)
