    I just visited the Old Navy store and they stole your idea! :) It was a dress exactly similar at the top, made out of plain cotton instead of the jersey, and gathered with raw edges on every horizontal line of color.

    Looks great!

    I absolutley LOVE the colours of this dress. Did you use lots of strips of different colours seamed together or is the fabric striped like that right from the roll? I only see gathers at the top where the dress attaches to the yoke, so I can't tell!
