My first shirt from scratch. It was a lot easier than trying to tailor an already made shirt. I added another pocket and I don't have buttons yet, they're coming soon. For the next one I'm going to slim down the collar and make some weird pockets for all the pens I carry.

Very nice job. The fit is excellent, and it's finished nicely.

I write from France , I see Friskie, you'r a boy : "felicitations" for this good job, Carl is very lucky... I 'm also an (old) boy (55ans) and I sew for wife and daughter and my little son (10 months), later, i' ll put the best of my 'production ',regards(sorry for my bad english)
Hey Carl, Great shirt! Love the choice of fabric! At first glance I mistook you for our model Jakob..
Wow, you were quick to get started on Burdastyle's first men's pattern! And you did a really good at it too! Looking forward to seeing your variations.
Congratulations, you sew like a pro! Nice to see that men are getting on that way !
Thanks everyone. As soon as I get ahold of some more Spring fabrics, I'm going to get a few more sewn up. As soon as some more patterns go up, I'll jump on those too. I'd do a tie, but it would never get worn.
very nice, well done! nice to see more guys posting creations here.
I noticed there are a lot of alterations to be made to the pattern. I re-cut the neckline and collar so it would fit me 100% every time I made the shirt. My first collar came out too big - same problem you had. Good job!
