It is a very easy jersey dress. I already came out as a jersey addict - it is so easy to sew and fit. I made the dress months ago and was afraid of making the neckline rib knit band. But now I am kind of experienced in that. The pattern is self made if we talk of a pattern. You can just take the Lydia, add a wide belt (a tube basically) and two A-line or if you want square pieces for the skirt. I added some pleats there. I must say this is one of my most favourite colours.

You're so productive :) It is really amazing how good such a like you said simple pattern could look. The color is great!
Yeah I know it seems like I am very productive, but I just found time to post stuff right now...
Great! I also love the color. I have a similar fabric at home but I cannot decide what to make of it. Did you use satin for the yoke or is it just the left side of fabric? Looks cute.
Waw, I just LOVE this dress!!! I'm a jersey addict too. It's just so comfortable to wear...
Your dress came out great, i love the color. I can see how you are addicted to jersey, i just recently made my first jersey piece and it was geat! now i have all these ideas in my head. I was always afraid my machine would just eat the knit material. Great Job!
Susisonne - I didn't use use a satin and it isn't even the left side - the knit has a direction. In the bodice and the skirt the direction is vertical and in the belt it is horizontal. So you get this effect of breaking the light differently.
Hi Ceregana, I love this dress. It fit you perfect, and that colour is great
this one is beautiful! and seems to be very comfy to wear!
Beautiful fit and color. Do you buy your jersey online? I haven't found a place that seems to have a good color selection.
No I don't buy it online. We have a really large fabric store called alphatex and they have a great selection of fabrics - mostly leftovers so they are on sale. But I am sure that you will find a great diversity online.
