JJ's great design.
When I bought the fabric, I didn't notice it onlty was 90cm wide, unfortunately. So I had to cut the ruffles in grain, although I would have preferred the stripes on the ruffles to go perpedicular to the blouse. Maybe next time.
I would also change the sleeves because apparently my arms are too fat. Otherwise the blouse size 42 fits as-is.

The blouse is lovely. The variance in the stripe on the ruffles is cool, it adds detail character.
It is really sweet.
I like your version. I also think the sleeves are a little too tight on my arms, otherwise I love it.
Definetely one of my next "to do's"! i like it very much. Does it take time? Or rather easy? Maybe that problem of "arms" can be solved by finishing them with an elastic ribbon or biais just to avoid to recut pieces?
J looks very nice in stripes. I'm so impressed with the ruffles, they look very neat.
Everytime I see this blouse in creations, it just makes my day! Your is very cute.
Thanks everyone :)
Well, I would rate this easy, but it has some fiddly bits - the binding on the sleeve slits (there is a how-to do it differently now), and attaching sleeves (but that's always a crux for me).
About the fabric, it's actually funny - my husband said it was too masculine :P I like it just fine.
very cute...you see i like contrasting creations masculine fabric ''balanced" with feminine ruffles!!! Plus i saw that ''the boy meets girl'' look is trendy!!!
gotta agree with the typing pool here, it's a delightful fabric choice and the blouse is lovely! great work!
