A spring tunic made from McCalls 4381. The name is because the Asian styling of it and the color reminds me of a colorful jacket that one of the characters in the show "Firefly" wore once.

What beautiful fabric! Was it difficult to sew the brocade fabric?
This particular brocade was a little tough to work with-- it was more lightweight than the Chinese-style brocades that are usually in the local fabric store, so it frayed a lot and snagged more easily and I had a bit of trouble finishing the seams. (Though the latter is probably because I'm still trying to learn how to use my serger!)
