I've been craving to try JJ Blouse in a black/white Gingham check. Sewing the ruffles was tricky, but I like ruffles so much ! Not sure though if the outcome is exactly what I wanted or intented, but now I've got a perfect piece for next sommer picnic parties.

Materials

Soft cotton fabric that has a linen feel.

I love it. I would never imagine making this shirt in that material, but it looks fabulous, makes me want to try my hand at it... again! I'm addicted to the JJ Blouse!

Love it! I wouldn't have guessed that the JJ would look so fantastic in gingham. Great job matching the plaid too.

Many thanks to everyone for encouraging me! And especially to JJ for this fantastic pattern peaudane:Yes, I serged the edges of the ruffles with a 2 threads rolled hem stitch.
