this was an old v-neck sweater that was to big so i cut it up and this is what i ended up with. i put darts in the back and cut the arms and gatherd thi middle in the front i added three buttons and a 3 inch ribbon.

Brilliant!
Love it! I am always afraid to cut the sweaters up for fear they will unravel before I can get them sewed and then it won't stay sewed. Can you give me any hints?
hi when i did this i cut then pinned alot and did a stay stich then when i sewed the peices together i did a zig-zag that is very importent so that it doesnt fray. thank
