Many members tell that they have problems with the fit of these pants. But anyway I decide to cut out size 38, cause it seems that the measures are perfect for me and the pants must fit me perfect. But in the end it was to loose and I must made it closer, I wish I had cut size 36 ...;P.
I lower the waist band about 6 cm and sewed two pockets. I leave the loops for the belt.
I´m very happy with the result, cause with the alterations they fit very good and the fabric is very comfy to wear!

I like how this pants turned out by you. I also bought the fabric for Nichola pants yesterday and I want to make it soon. I like your idea with lowering of the waist band. I am happy now that I did not cut the pattern yet.

SUPER! Mir gefallen alle deine Projekte. Ich habe aber eine Frage. Da ich eine Anfaengerin bin, moechte ich wissen, ob es eine allgemeine Methode gibt, wie man die Hosen- bzw. Rockkante niedriger macht? Mich nervt es immer, wenn ich ˝obere Kante-Taille˝ lese. Ich mag das nicht. LG

Mich nervt das auch! Bei Röcken ist das auf jedenfall einfacher. Schau mal bei meinem Sidonie Rock nach, ich habe ein "How to" dazu gemacht. Bei Hosen ist die ganze Sache schon schwieriger, weil du den Schnitt für den Hosenbund selbst machen musst, da der Originalbund dann nicht mehr passt. Du kannst den Originalbung verlängern bzw. vergrößern oder einfach einen eigenen anfertigen. Dazu musst du den Hosenumfang nach der Kürzung ausmessen und deinem neuen Bund anpassen.
Ich hab das aber auch nie gelernt. Du musst das einfach ausprobieren und sehen wie es läuft. Learning by doing ;)! Am besten machst du das an alten Sachen die du nicht mehr brauchst oder nicht besonders teuren Stoffen, damit du dich nicht ärgerst wenns nicht klappt.

wie weit hast du den bund runtergesetzt? weisst du das noch. ich hab den schnitt auch zu hause, hab mich nie getraut meinen schönen stoff dafür zu verwenden, weil die hosen manchmal furchtbar ausschauen.
Bei dir sitzt sie total gut. jetzt werde ich es wohl doch auch wagen.
