Bravo Roberta! I'm so proud of you! I wish I went to the same school and maybe we can sew something together one day. The dress is very beautiful! I like the details in the front.

Thank you all for your comments! The skirt is made of 11 pieces and stitched with French seam. I used some draping techniques, so I don’t have a pattern for this dress. I adjusted my mannequin on my sizes, but for the first fitting the upper part came a little bit large  I want to buy a dress form, and hope to make more dresses as good as this one. Even I was surprised to make a dress like this and my husband is very proud of me (he bought me a new sewing machine Brother PC 420 to help me do this dress). Mirela, I can’t wait to sew some garments together. I have more fabric like this, so I was thinking to do another dress…maybe a short one.

    Best Regards, Roberta
