glamour cardigan or lazy girl's jacket...

Description

I bought this fabric very cheaply a couple of months ago (3 metres of it) but didn't really know what it was or what to do with it. I made a Sarah with it, which I didn't really like but taught me a thing or two about this stuff. It's not synthetic, as I thought, it's actually a cooked wool knit. Which means it doesn't fray. I used that quality a lot in making this cardigan. I made the design from my block as if designing for a woven fabric (this stuff stretches, but not crazily and it is quite bulky) but didn't use a lining and only facings at center front and the collar. The edges were all left raw and only finished by stay stitching. I moved the sleeve seam from under the arm to the top of the sleeve so I could cut the bottom of the sleeve up on the outside.

Materials

cooked wool knit, mother-of-pearl button from my grandmother's jar

    Enjoying the Autumn weather

Its a beautiful design and it suits the cooked wool. I especially like the darts leading up to the neck.

Hi. I'm new at Burdastyle and I'm from Chile... How can I get the pattern of this jacket? Are all for FREE? Or do I have to buy it? Or be your friend?

    Please explain it to me.

    Thanks a lot

    Dany
