A jumper dress in discount fabric with recycled bed-sheet piping, contract hem band and under bust contrast belt. This was a test run for a dress I want to make for Easter. I wanted to make sure the pattern fit correctly before using the "good" material and this turned out to be wearable. I removed the flutter sleeves and added piping around the armholes and neckline. I also added a bias-cut contrast band hem around the bottom and made a contrast belt with a flat bow in the back. Belt is tacked to dress at the side seams and held closed by a button at the back.

I'm sorry the Pictures are so blurry. Does anyone know how to fix this?
You should check the resolution (size) of the photographs. If they are too small there is nothing you can do about it. If the originals were larger you can post this. Normally cameras can take pictures at 3-4 different resolution aspects. It is in the camera settings.
It looks good in spite of the blur! I'm curious to know which Simplicity pattern you used as I am looking for a pattern for a dress with a V-neck and flutter sleeves.
So cute! I like the plaid!
Thank you all for nice comments. Ceregana, you were absolutely right about the pics being too small. Paudane, it's Simplicity 5621 View B.
