Cardigan**

Description

One more Anthropologie inspired knit. It is not exactly like the original, but after one total ripping of the front I lost my patience and left it like this. It was a quick project on the Bond machine ( I love my Bond). (The cat insisted to be on the picture =^..^=)

I made the chart pattern for the cardigan, as some of you asked for it. It's a scanned chart that I put in a Word format. I hope it is clear enough! I tried to upload it to "my patterns" but the link doesn't work. I keep getting the message that the Administrator will fix the problem soon for few days now. If it ever works I will add it to the pattern database.

    is now an Australian citizen!

This is lovely! You knit it on your knitting machine and made upt he pattern yourself? I'm impressed :) I've always wanted a knitting machine but then it's just another thing in my sewing room and another craft added to the list. My friend has a few though which i could try out and just might. Maybe you'd be interested in posting a pattern?

This is so cool! I actually own "The Incredible Sweater Machine" made by Bond that I did a few samples on once but never actually used to make anything... if you do decide to post your pattern, I'd love to try making one!

OOh, I'm blushing! I will try to make a chart pattern of it. Since it is not really much like the original it shouldn't be unethical.

Oohhhh, I love it. I'm very much interested in this Bond machine everytimes Kasia postes her knit creations. Have you ever seen used Bond in Ebay sometimes?

Thanks JJ. I did look at ebay and I was very close to buying one there, but then Joann.com had an online 30% coupon and I went for a brand new, deluxe machine for $125. There is soo many little things that come with the machine that I had reservations with the used Bond. I was scared that something might be missing and the JoAnn's discount pushed me into buying a new one. I had a big dilema with the deluxe vs. regular and I didn't want to miss out on anything, so I chose the deluxe, and I am happy. I don't think I will ever use the row counter, but the extenssion came in handy already and I have Great plans for the fair isle plate (I don't know how well it works yet). These are the three deluxe things. JoAnn has some great user reviews of the Bond that I found very helpfull.

Thanks Kasia, this is very useful info. I had no idea that JoAnn carries Bond too. Considering we live in the long cold winter every year, I think it's a good idea to make our own warm clothes, I can't really count on my hand knitting skills. Now I know what Xmas gift I'll get from my husband!

Kasia, this is a great top! My friend has the one from Anthropologie that inspired you, and I was obsessed with it. I wish I had your skills so I could make one for myself too!
