This coat started out as a McCall's pattern M5513. I basically finished the project before I realized it was too big and I didn't like it. So I had to make it MUCH smaller and alter it to my liking. I'm happy with how it turned out and was excited to make my first buttonholes, yay! I had fun sewing it, but it has taken forever.

That looks so cool, you did a wonderful job. I like the style, the wool fabric and it looks really comfy!
I really really love how it turned out. It is very chic yet fresh. It was worth the struggle and the time! p.s I posted it here too, cause you will probably delete one of these...
so stylish. i like buttons, gives great accent. but especially likes for that bubble bottom. very innovative idea.
this is fantastic! I love the shape with the fabric; the angular plaid sets off the bubble shape nicely. the length is perfect too. very cool! :)
I love it, great transformer.
It looks so neat... I like your alterations, too.
