jersey knit top

Description

I've always had trouble sewing knit fabric with my sewing machine (it does guide the fabric quite the way it should, so ball point needles and the like don't really help), but having learned more, I thought I had to try again. Also, I was really determined to try and convert my bodice sloper for knits this time (Lydia is fine off course, but nothing beats having a personally sized sloper). I had tried that before, but then it came out much too big. I'm quite pleased with the result. My 'let's try if it will work'-sleeves worked out well, I like the gathers at the neck (that's where I put the space of the breast darts) and the shape and print work well together. The roll neck is basically a small version of the drape neck I made for my Lydia top.

Materials

thin cotton jersey

Sometimes I wish I could see bigger versions of the pictures on this site and this is precisely the case... All the small details in it are awesome. Could you, please, upload some detail shots?
    The shape looks very classy.
