blogging like i've never blogged!!

This is wonderful, i was thinking of making this skirt, but wasn't sure about the pleats and whether it would make me look larger than i am!!! i was also thinking of just giving it a plain back rather than carrying the pleats onto the back as well. Congratulations to you though, it looks wonderful.

reconsidering summer sewing plans

I think it looks good! And podge, I made my Marie with a plain back and I like it very much. Also, compairing fully pleated ones and plain back versions here, I'm inclined to think that you get less suggestion of added width at the hips with a plain back.
