Description

The Jorinde blazer is truly the jacket for all seasons. Make it in a corduroy or wool to carry you through the rest of winter, slide your cell into the flap pockets, and you're on your way. Or, try it in a lighter weight fabric to get prepared for spring. Give it the cool grandpa look by adding elbow patches, or go a bit more lady like and use some sparkling buttons on the sleeves!

Materials

wide-rib corduroy, leather, leather buttons

Great blazer, but what's Eslyn up to going to the men's toilets?

way too busy for loads of sewing

Finally a real blazer! It's a little bit boxy for my taste, but I really like those shoulder pieces.

I'm not so happy with the pattern, it's too boxy for me plus the collar looks weird but I have to admit that you made a rather boring blazer look nice by choosing corduroy and adding different coloured buttons and the leather elbow patches. The details add a real nice touch!

    sewing summer clothes.

I like the jacket, I like thoes elbow pads. I have sewn a lined jacket with this type of slit at the sleeves. I was so confused about how to sew them with machine and hide everything. Finally I found that the lining piece needs it own pattern left and right, very interesting.

Oh, I love it! (I obviously have the most booring taste ever - my daughter also confirms that...) I like the collar, it brings out those shoulder pieces nice on the front side; I like the closure with only one button; I like your choice of materials and details for it, I'll end up probably in producing a more-or-less copy of yours (so much for originality) since I like this one just the way it is. I would make one change though: I would go for the same color for the buttons as for the elbow patches.

    Working on the Stefi Jacket

I would want to make this just for the challenge. I like the details of the jacket. Yeah, what's up with the men's room??

    sewing my wedding dress!

I love the color, I'm not crazy about the "bulk" of it. I like the elbow pads and I like the shoulder pieces as well, maybe a lighter weight fabric would do the trick. Great job, as always you all at Burdastyle make beautifully constructed clothing!

    is excited for autumn!

Alright, the men's restroom. Story is: We actually did use it. The women's bathroom was not nice and we couldn't ask the girl's to change in it. It was some kind of emergency:)

The jacket is very beautiful - good stylish shape, different and maybe easier type neck-piece in combination with very interesting shoulders - i think could be performed better - maybe need good iron - could be amazing for my new jacket :-) I like it...
