great fabric- what is it?
Excellent adaptation; I also would like to know what the fabric is.
Nice use of the Ellinor pattern. I might give this a try. I just made a shorter version of Ellinor the other day and really like it. It was a bit tight over my hips, but that is because I am a pear, so I will adjust for that next time.
Wow, great job on using the Ellinor pattern for this. Looks great!
Nice job! I'm just thinking that I would try to make a Ellinor jacket version. Your creation gives me a motivation very much; thank you!
Thanks, it was a really easy pattern to alter for both size and style. I definitely recommend it! The fabric is a corduroy, 100% cotton, from Jo-Ann. They put all their printed corduroy on clearance in Dec-Jan, and I think I got this for $2 a yard or so.
I saw in the gallery that someone from Japan made this into a grey wool dress that is really stunning -- I will have to try that sometime, too!
