Re-fashion in Blue

Size_chart

Description

I refashioned this dress which belonged to my older sister when she was younger. Since finding it in the attic, I had a bunch of ideas but set it aside for a while. Now, after using my entire supply of pins, and a quick few runs of the sewing machine, it's a little minidress! I ditched the pink flower pin, removed the sleeves, turned it around, took it in a bit on the left and right sides on the front, relocated a button to the back, and made it a v-neck. It's a little shabbily remade, but i'll still wear it!! :)

Materials

Old, blue, size 14, children's dress

Shabilly remade? Doesn't look that way, it's very cute! Love that vibrant blue :)

    sewing my wedding dress!

Super cute, I love love love the color. I need to get a better "eye" if you will for picking out clothing that has potential at the thrift shops. Great Job!

Wow, I love your creativity and vision, and your recycling of lovely re-usable fabric. It's super -- beautiful colour and looks like a good sewing job to me. I don't see "shabbily" at all. Well done!
