When I saw this Vogue Pattern I knew that I have to do it. The pattern wanted to make a rose at the shoulder but than I tried and tried to gather the rose and after an half day of trying I changed it into a collar. I think it looks better and defently it feels better than this havy rose on one side. The closing should be asymetric but for my body it fitted better how it is now. The pattern pieces were hughe and they needed a lot of time to prepare. I couldn´t find hook and eye tape so I added normal hook and eyes This pattern tested my skills and nerves.;-) But I think after now 2 month of starting with sewing I worked it out well. And I have to say that I enjoyed this unusal pattern an the technique of sewing.
