I made this dress to wear to my friend's wedding on the weekend. I did it without sleeves to make it a bit dressier. I ended up taking it in quite a bit in the upper body area and the shoulders to make a snug fit. This is normal for me as I am a size smaller up top than around my hips and waist.

Wedding DanielleDescriptionMaterialsNot sure what the fabric is, I got it from the op shop. It has fine black horizontal and vertical lines. I like the drape. The band is made from satin. I also used a long blue zip and the iron on hem stuff (name?) as I was worried about adding bulk and leaving marks if I sewed it. It was the first time I have used it and was quite pleased with the results. Credits
