Description

a make-up bag i've been promising to make for my friend rachel for the past couple of months. i'm pretty satisfied with everything except those raw edges inside.

cotton duck, fleece, broadcloth, zipper

    i did it like she did here: Box Bag Tutorial except i cut 12.5x17.5" rectangles and used 1/4" seam allowances. in hindsight, i should have added a little tab near the zipper to make unzipping it easier.

    I love your choice of fabrics! It's very classy. As for the unfinished edges inside, what about using some binding tape... (is that what its called?)
