Short Blazer

Size_chart

Description

It is a short wool blazer. I've done it a year ago and I wear it occasionally. I think I should have made the front overlapping... it was a pattern from BWOF . I modified the closure and the collar.

Materials

wool

really nice! It suits you very well. I've been looking for a pattern like this for a while. A friend of mine had one with an eyelet on each side and a wide ribbon to close it.

    sewing my wedding dress!

I think that is gorgeous, I love the wool, at first I thought is was a knit fabric, i love it so much more now that I realize it is a wool. I keep meaning to subscribe to BurdaModen, I don't have the extra cash right now... maybe for my birthday!

    Buy my patterns! Buy indie!

Very chic and stylish. I like it without the overlap, it creates a pretty style line. Nice job!

    is looking forward to Oktoberfest!

I like how simple and elegant it is. Without any buttons or extra closures, just a simple and elegant blazer.

    Enjoying the Autumn weather

I really like this style - the way it ties in the front. Good job.

    on vacation!

The style looks very comfortable (I can't wear wool, so I would never make a wool garment) and in my opinion it doesn't matter that it doesn't close. I think it looks very well made and professional

    making a black jacket

Sorry I cannot tell you which BWOF it was - it was one of my mothers old magazines and i just used the pattern as a base. I am sure you can make the same modification on the Eva pattern. I rounded off the collar and the edges and added the bow. It is sewed in between the front and the side front pieces. Really easy changes - just cosmetics really.
