Description

A kimono dress made from my blocks. This might have been a result of reading Memoirs of a Geisha again! This is a mock wrap dress. This is the first time I have drawn a design before making the actual garment :) Originally, I meant for it to have long sleeves, but after a while walking around the house with the dress on, I found it too flashy, I might cut it as shown in the picture.

I like the long sleeve version more, too! It seems more elegant to me. The short version would probably work better for me if you had some long-sleeved fitted top under it... Just a suggestion. The fabric is gorgeous either way. ;-)

it,s alovely dress i love the idea of drawing the scketch before sewing u are talented in drawing don,t stop drawing. i also like the long sleeve more did u draw the pattern also or did u take it from else where
