these are shorts i made last night to wear to school :) my school colors are navy and white. i first got inspired by gossip girl to create new and more interesting garments to wear to school. and for the design i gathered inspiration from 'gracie by alice mccall'
i really like how they have turned out. i also absolutely LOVE the inside, because of how i have bias binded all the edges. if i could i would wear them inside out haha. i love bias binding. :) i modified the tonia pattern to create this. i think ill add in welt pockets later :]

I have to ask.. What number was your Burda pattern? I really like the length and cut of those shorts.
oh they were the 7909 TONIA but i modified the front and back as well as the waistband and the length =X
really nice! you're gifted!
cool i love the colors.
You are so talented, great job!
Watch out ;) bias binding is really addictive, believe me, I know...
you've inspired me to go ahead with my school shorts though i only have three terms left. thanks
omg these are gorgeous! will be first thing i make on new sewing machine arriving on birthday!
well you could start off by binding all the raw edges but i knew that i didnt have enough bias binding so i just binded them after i had sewn the seam, this made the bias binding not so perfect but i guess no one will see the insides =D
LOVE IT!!! White and blue contrasting goes well.
