As it says in the title. These are my first pants ever and after getting over the first shock of trying my nearly completed pants on (the crotch length was way too long, although I measured first!), adjusting and resewing them, they now fit quite well, I think. But after this experience I will definitely make a block pattern for pants, I don't want to go through the fitting nightmare again. Originally I was going to do the Anita, but after seeing some creations and realising, that they are probably a bit too skinny for me, I opted for the Kwik-sew 3315 stretch Jeans. I used some contrasting corduroy, left over from my blouse, for the pockets and I personalised the back pockets by topstitching them with a stretch stitch!

I think you did a wonderful job with the fit. They look adorable, and I am a sucker for gray corduroy pants. I love the contrast on the pockets and your own unique personalization with the back pocket topstiching. I hope when I attempt my first pair of pants they come out this good!
Cute detailing on the pockets. I love the contrasting corduroy.
Is this your first ever pair of trousers??? I'll believe because you wrote it, but I would never have guessed from the way these look. They look great and I know trouser fitting can be quite a pain. Be sure to mark the changes you've made on you pattern, that way you can make it again without any problem (this is such a classic jeans cut, you'll probably want more).
you surely have done a GREAT job with the fit if these are your first trousers. i like the details, the contrast front pocket and the "G" on the back.
I love the G too.
WAW! Great job! I still have to make my very first pair of trousers. You give me hope! :)
