Description

I used the reusable grocery bag(Charlie) pattern and I did this bag. The pouch is attached in plain view so I can use it as a pocket for keys and tissues.

    Waw! I can't wait to get make my own one. I might use fabric from Ikea as well. Just saw their new catalog and they have some very nice fabrics.

    The more I see these bags the more I want to make some. Must get other sewing projects out of the way first though! I like the idea of being able to get rid of my other shopping bags for something that looks fun! \Well done, nice colour combo.

    Thanks for your comments. If you carefully follow their instructions the Charlie bag is a 1-2 hours project. So it's fun to sew and it's done in no time.

    I've made another Charlie bag in navy-blue and beige, with a retro pattern. It was a gift for my mother and she loved it. What can I say, I'm in love with Charlie...

    these look great. i really like what you did with the pocket and the fabric. i have some ikea fabric, great use for it.
