Description

I made this skirt to wear on Christmas day but it was too cold so the first time I wore it was for my baby girl's first birthday party. I used silver ric rac for the bands around the hips and I was going to use some silver fabric I bought for the band at the bottom but I sewed it on back to front and then could not salvage it. So I found a silver ribbon in my ribbon box and sewed that on, much easier.

Materials

Pink striped shirting fabric, cotton/poly blend. Silver ric rac. Silver ribbon. Pink zip.

It's beautiful! I'm a big fan of that fabric. It's really lovely. (And isn't a pretty ribbon the perfect quick hem fix?!) Bravo!

i love it!this is my favorite michelle skirt i've seen, look so much better with this kind of lightweight fabric i love it!!!!
