Lydia with hood

Size_chart

Description

burdastyle.coms Lydia pattern, only change was to add the hood. I used the instructions from this site.

I had a little trouble with the fabric being pulled down into the bobbin cavity at times. I suspect I should have used a thinner needle.

Materials

Cotton interlock, creamwhite.

Cotton thread (50/3).

I like this one, and I think it will be something I try out for this winter.

    has bought a VIKING Platinum 770 :D

So simple, but so clever at the same time. Excellent idea, I think I'll might have to copy. And you've done a great job at this.

Nicely done, looks very comfortable - cotton interlock mmmm. And thanks for the link - that's a great site. I am looking forward to using some of the patterns.

    Thanks everyone!
I have used a "jersey" needle, but it's not a ballpoint needle. I haven't found a place to buy those yet. Maybe it was just not sharp enough...
