Recently, I've made some high waisted trousers and skirts, but I've just been wearing them with normal shirts (sometimes tucked in) and sweaters. To make the most of the high waisted look, I designed this wide, cropped and pleated shirt. Getting the pleating at the front right took some effort (the darts from the sloper have to be distributed in some of the pleats. that's a lot easier on paper than in reality). It worked out in the end, the dummie is a little bit bustier than me, so on me, it looks good It's got six pleats at front and back and an inverted box pleat in each sleeve. Simple collar stand. Although it doesn't show in these pictures, the pleats flare out when I move around in it, creating a nice line.

Zahra, I felt the same too, it is soooooo Lauriana. This shirt reminds me of swing jacket. We should have the swing jacket in Burdastyle database. Great job, Lauriana.
really interesting! but it would be great to see it on you!!
looks great, a perfect match for the high-waisted look indeed. I would also like to see it on you teamed with something high-waisted.
that's fabulous! and you're right, it would be the perfect accompaniment to high waisted trousers... Great job on all that pleating, too!
I love this shirt... would be a nice summer shirt with hipster trousers too to show off the midriff nicely!
