I made this because I got bored late at night and couldn't sleep. o_O

Some stretchy purple fabric & elastic. =]

I used one of my tops to trace it onto the purple fabric to make the front "bow" portion. Everything else was all me. ^_^

Yes, I think it would work for other fabrics that are non-stretchy. But you might need a zipper for closure. I'm pretty new to all this sewing my own clothing thing =] but you might have to gather the drapes before sewing the top portion on if you're going to use other types of fabric. This is just to my knowledge. If there are others out there that have a better approach, please few free to give any tips! I love learning new techniques. =]
