Dress from a japanese sewing book by Machiko Kayaki ("Sewing Talk").
Wearable with a simple little underdress or with a T and pants.
I really love this one, it's so very versatile and the linen makes it breezy and cool.
The japanese patterns run short and small comparing to "western" standard patterns or burda patterns. I love them, because I don't need to alter anything, what I always need to do with our normal sewing patterns ^-^

Gorgeous dress, gorgeous house!
This dress is adorable on its own, but even cuter with your hairstyle! I love it.
really nice!!! very simple and very chic. where did you find the japanese book? I've been trying to look at amazon japan for sewing books but I wasn't too sure about what I was doing, so I gave up....
amazon.jp IS a good source, and there isat least this one tutorial out there on how to order there.
