I made this party skirt following Nyantaras How To! But I didn't make the pleats as big as the original, and my skirt is made out of stretch jersey so I didn't have to put in a zipper. And all these changes kind of made it worse, so next time I'll stick to those who know.

I actually did the same thing as you, with ribbed yellow cotton that was stretchy, and it didn't have as many pleats either. I also made another one (following the rules a bit better!) and I like to wear it more! So I agree about sticking to those who know. But I don't know, I think yours is pretty cute!
