Did you all trim the edges with bias tape? Also, do you know of any product out there that could serve as a "no-slip" material on the bottom? Thank you! Good idea!

My feet were cold, and I was cruising around BurdaStyle . . . I remembered there was a slipper pattern called Alice. I just whipped up a pair of these in about 20 minutes . . . I didn't even print the pattern out, I just traced it from the computer screen. I used fleece, and found that it wasn't sturdy enough on the bottom. Since I had already sewn them, I could very well double up the bottom pieces. Instead I sewed a back heel-piece onto them to make them into more of a "bootie" type slipper. They fit alot more snug now. I haven't finished any of the edges or anything, but I only intend to wear them around the house.

As for a no-slip bottom . . . try putting some puff-fabric paint on the bottom in squiggles or circles . . . or even star shapes!
