Flower Michelle

#8090 Product of Burda (13604) (8072)
Size_chart

Description

I made a Michelle skirt using a crinkled (don't know the proper discription) silk. I love the color, but sorry it might not look so lovely, as it was too difficult for me to take a good pic. It was green-silver-ish pale blue... I used green shiny silk for the contrasting hem and ribbons, and also for the facing. I have put the liner for my later comfort. The total length was shortened by 2cm as I am 166cm ; )

Materials

a flower patterned woven pale blue silk/acryl mix and a plain green silk/polyester

having fun with knits and sergers.

Looks good to me! I like the contrast in textures and amount of shininess.

wow, this worked out very fine! i'm especially flashed by the side view. how did you manage it not be shorter in the back? i heard that's often a problem with skirts.
