Chinese Brocade Nayantara Cropped Jacket

Description

First of 4 Nayantara dolman-sleeved tops/jackets that I'm making for my girlfriends for Christmas. Used a chocolate-brown Chinese brocade and a black satin lining. I was going to trim it with a nice black braided trim....but could not figure out a way to finish the trim edges (since it is braided, I'm afraid it will fray). Does anyone have any ideas on finishing trim edges?
