Months ago, I saw a pattern in Burda WOF of a shirt with the buttons going to the side. I liked that feature, but not the overall fit. Now, I've incorporated that in my own design. Fitted shirt, shaped with panels (not with darts, exept for the one breast dart), classic shirt sleeves with slits like those on men's shirts and fold over cuffs. I'm not entirely pleased with the end result. It would have been more comfortable with the buttons a little less to the side and the colour combination and stiffness of the fabric make it look like some kind of catering uniform.

It's lovely, very eyes catching style. I have never seen this kind of front seams before, very interesting. It went well with the center front openning (which is not center at all).
bright color! great pattern and definitively eyes catching!
I like it! definitely eye-catching. but I agree, the buttons a bit more centered below the waist, or alternatively the button line could also be more curved (so that it defines nicely the bust). i know the pattern from BWoF, your version is very nice!
What a cool blouse! Very eye-catching and much better looking than the Burda WOF shirt you mentioned. I saw that too and didn't like the fit at all.
The diagonal line is so interesting and eye-catching, though I can see how it would have been more comfortable at less of an angle. And I was thinking more a military look than a catering uniform. ;)
This is remarkable. Very unique! I love it!
VERY NICE. STRIKING IN RED AND BLACK! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR UNIQUE BLOUSE!

I do not have that only one word "waouh" it is extraordinary.
I really love this pattern and i think it has so much potential. i could see it really fem and frilly with a fuffle along the buttons, collar and cuffs. looks like a great fit too!
This would make an awesome jacket. I love it
