About yours, maybe you could lower the neck and make it wider around the neck, also could turn it into a deep V neck to match the reverse V of the pleat on the skirt. But I also like it just like it is

I loved the idea in the link in AverageJaneCrafter's blog... adding some shapes in contrasting fabic, made of felt. I think it might be exactly what would work perfectly on this dress. But, of course, it's all up to you. :-) It looks beautiful as it is.
