My version of the Emily blouse, in a navy blue/royal blue/metallic tan striped fabric. I used the first view with the extra-long sleeves, but did not do the elastic gathering at the elbows. (My arms are long anyway, so it fit fine with no modifactions.) I also had to take it in a few inches at the waist to get it to fit me better, and add another button closer to the hem to get it to cover my waistband when my arms are raised (I'm a flute teacher, so I have to factor that in!) To compensate for those changes, I added slits at the side seams. I also wanted the option of closing the cuffs, so I added buttonholes to either side of that and made cuff links to go with. (And my apologies for the bleached-out face shot... best I could do home alone with the self-timer and the light coming in the window! Next time I should stick to the dummy pics.)
