I was finally in the mood again for sewing last weekend, so I made this dress for a wedding this Sat. I have always wanted a black lace dress and had this black stretch lace in my stash waiting to be made into something pretty! I lined it with beige jersey to show the floral design. I sewed gathered frill elastic onto the bust line and finished the hem off with a gathered lace frill. I am happy with how it turned out and think I will get a lot of wear out of this dress - lets hope we're invited to lots more weddings :-)
