Tie-collar blouse

Description

When finished, this blouse will have puffed, wrist length sleeves. I haven't attached them yet because I need to make organza sleeve heads. You can see stay-stitching around the armholes to stop them from stretching when the sleeves are sewin in. The collar ties also need a good pressing.

Materials

Fine polyester knit, organza for the interfacing. I decided to use organza because it's light but stiff enough to keep the puffed sleeves in shape. The centre front (where the buttons go) also has organza interfacing.

Wondering how long my login lasts

Thanks. I bought it 3 years ago but couldn't think of what to do with it. The pattern is actually meant for cotton fabrics but I really wanted to use this fabric.

Finally finished yesterday! The sleeves aren't as puffed as I initially thought but I'm happy with how the organza gives the sleeves a nice shape.
