Plaid Yellow-ish Skirt

Description

I like plaid skirts, especially those inspired by kilts. I used an old BWOF pattern - 1/1998, #103. I like the fringe you get by pulling out several vertical threads from the fabric, so I made that as a trim. Since this is a wrap skirt (though it has a waist yoke and a zipper on the back), I put a decorative safety pin (don't know English word for it) to prevent it from opening. I'm wearing this skirt with the jacket I posted before (but didn't have pics of me wearing it) - BWOF 6/2005 #127.

Wool, lining, zipper

This skirt is very pretty! I think the plaid fabric is perfect and the built in trim is a great idea!
