I was very curious about making a leather jacket, then I found this imitation leather, reasonable price not too risky to waste. the pattern was from Knip Mode, Jan 2007, actually it was from a wol jacket but I found the pattern very interesting and very 70's so I gave it a try. the material was great because it was easy to sew. I found those great imitation leather buttons the same color of the material. nice try, very good results. My husband is pushing me to make him one.

It looks fabulous. You look like a doll.
Terrific jacket! Any tip on sewing the sleeves? I never tried sewing (fake) leather jacket, I was intimidated with sleeves insertion. I normally pin them to the sloper before stitching, but pinning the leather would leave the pin marks... So, how did you sew them?
I adore it, It's beautyfull! Well done, wonderfull job!!! Like the model! Every piece of it is great, I love the detail on the back, too! Your sawing is profy!!

Very stylish;)
You've done a great job. I looks so professional.
Great jacket. It fits you perfect. I think it must be difficult to make a stitches on leather fabrics. I tried it ones, but my sewing machine did not want to move the fabric forward. Did you use a special fit for sewing this fabric?
simply fabulous! I'm inspired to dive into a stash of red faux leather to do something similar...bravo
