If you have a couple of hours on your hand and some rests of fabrics, this is the perfect little project for you. The princess seams are ideal to get a perfect fit, as you can just try it on and adjust it, once you got the main bodice assembled. No separate sleeves but an extension that works like a cap sleeve, save a lot of time and hassle.

cute! pity it's not free. ok 2,50 is no big deal, it's more about the priniciple - open source and all that. on the other hand for double the price I can get a decent pattern with paper included (no messing with tape), so...
We all know what we can get for paying a little more but the idea is to support the site. The free patterns are wonderful and they only ecourage me to pay for the others.
Hi britnlind, i agree with you im thinking about buying this pattern. Narrawallee
Whatever, Burda is one of the leading publishing firms in Europe. This site is a ploy to open up their English-speaking markets in UK and the US. I applaud them for the site, and have long subscribed to their magazine Burda World of Fashion. However, it is important to realize that in buying patterns we are not 'supporting' a struggling indy site, but participating in a huge marketing survey to understand how sewers use the web.
not a comment...a question. Is there any reason why this could not be made in a lightweight wool or even a quilted fabric to wear as a vest?
