Description

We turned our lovely Plus Size evening dress into a pretty, casual blouse. The original pattern was so big, it was only available to print at copy shop, but now, with this variation, we can print at home! Playing with the neckline and the center front skirt panels, there are so many possibilities for you with this pattern. We can't wait to see them.

Materials

light printed cotton, silk chiffon

    looking for inspiration

I LOVE this shirt. I think that I might make it into a pretty dress as well. So nice to see that the bigger girls are getting options. grading is a pain, these new plus size patterns are so totally awesome and time saving :D

I have yet to sew anything for myself. But I think I'm definately going to give this a go...it's lovely! Time to graduate from kids clothes to adult things.

OMG! You read my mind! I'd wanted to do the dress, but never got around to it and was unsure because of how much fabric it'd need. The top is just a cool, and a good way to work up to the dress.

Oh, HOORAY! I downloaded this pattern this afternoon. It will be my first Burda project-- I'm very excited. Thank you for including some plus sizes lately, it is MUCH appreciated, please keep them coming!

hoping for a dress form for Xmas!

This will probably be my first BurdaStyle project. I didn't like it as a dress but I don't mind it as a top. Thanks for thinking of us more rounded sewers.

As ye sew, so shall ye rip.

This is a lovely pattern. I've looked at the layout and pattern pieces, and it can be lengthened to a long gown easily. Just keep the lines tidy ;) Nehmah

is not ready for cold weather!

To everybody that wants to make this as a gown. This is the shortened version of the Francesca pattern, a gown!

No pattern work needed, just download it and you have your gown version. Best Benedikta

Yay! Something pretty for those of us who are not a size 10! As Caterpiller Peacock said before me - grading is a pain. I see lots of ways to use my considerable stash on this top. Thanks!
