Bolero jackets seem to be in this season, so I decided to make one, too. I used a Burda pattern #106 from 9/07 issue. The fabric is linen/coton and the linning is made of leftover fabric (a skirt I was making that just didn't come out right).

I like it! the cut, and the lining makes it looks luxurious~
It really looks great. I like your choice of lining too.
I agree -- the lining is fabulous.
Lovely! I also like the lining
Thank you all for your nice comments. Zozowahine; the pattern was fairly easy to use. It was my first time making lining, I spend little time on it. Also, I don't have much experience with collars ( my #2 collar), and the professional descriptions of instructions are little like foregin language for me, so making the collar was like solving a puzzle for me. I am not sure if I did it right but it looks ok. I decided aginst shoulder pads and changed closure from snaps to buttons. ohh, and one more thing; the pocket flaps tend to roll up (they roll up on the Burda picture, too), so I added 2 snaps on each pocket to keep them down. I general, all the pattern pices came together well and I didn't have to make any ajustements there. Good luck with your project and I hope to see your creation soon.
very chic! I love the lining..
