Description

love these pants! they are so comfortable. i'm using them as pj pants.

NOTES on the pattern: the pattern doesn't give a cutting layout guide, and it does NOT follow traditional cutting rules. basically, instead of how you normally cut fabric by folding it with right sides together and cutting each piece (which produces 2 pieces that are mirror images of each other), you will instead just cut 2 identical pieces (fabric right side up on both). go ahead, ask me how i know.

Materials

flannel cotton

    being swallowed by buffalo check.

thanks! i love this fabric, however, it's probably not the best for thai pants if you care about things like matching the plaids at the seams. as you can see, i didn't.

They look great. Are they really so big? Or did you make them bigger? Because I want to make a pair og them, too :)

i followed the pattern exactly and they are huge. i could gain 200 lbs and they would still fit. however, the way they fold over, the extra bulk isn't a problem.

    RECOVERING A CHANGE/BATH TABLE

yeah great tip, they look like AWESOME pregnancy pants. i really like how the plaid doesnt match perfectly, it gives it character and cookieness and makes them really cool and original looking. i want to make a pair but i think only really skinny people can pull them off, im not sure they'd suit someone of average build,so i'm a bit aprihensive about making them, i think ill wait until i have another child!! :)
