love these pants! they are so comfortable. i'm using them as pj pants.
NOTES on the pattern: the pattern doesn't give a cutting layout guide, and it does NOT follow traditional cutting rules. basically, instead of how you normally cut fabric by folding it with right sides together and cutting each piece (which produces 2 pieces that are mirror images of each other), you will instead just cut 2 identical pieces (fabric right side up on both). go ahead, ask me how i know.

They do look comfortable! And the pictures are nice, too!
I like those pants :) They're kind of funny. Nice pics!
Your pants look great! Also, thanks so much for the cutting tip.
wow I love your pants! I love your choice of fabric, too.
thanks! i love this fabric, however, it's probably not the best for thai pants if you care about things like matching the plaids at the seams. as you can see, i didn't.
They look great. Are they really so big? Or did you make them bigger? Because I want to make a pair og them, too :)
i followed the pattern exactly and they are huge. i could gain 200 lbs and they would still fit. however, the way they fold over, the extra bulk isn't a problem.
great photos!
Looks great. Thai fishing pants are meant to look that big. I cant wait to make mine!
I loooove the first photo! and the fabric is so cool for this pants! nice nice!
love these pants of yours! I wasn't sure about the pattern... they looked kind of dopey, but yours are super cute and cuddly looking - something I would want to try myself! great pants.
I wore these while pregnant and they're great to wear as your tummy grows :) Love yours and you pics!
yeah great tip, they look like AWESOME pregnancy pants. i really like how the plaid doesnt match perfectly, it gives it character and cookieness and makes them really cool and original looking. i want to make a pair but i think only really skinny people can pull them off, im not sure they'd suit someone of average build,so i'm a bit aprihensive about making them, i think ill wait until i have another child!! :)
Love it! Made me want to make one :-)
I was going to make these as comfy winter PJs too - just waiting to find the right fabric. Yours looks great! Thanks for the warning on the pattern too.
