Here an altered version of the IDIT, following some pointers by Pink Hibiscus who first introduced the idea of it as empire-cut. I love the shoulder details, feminine but not frilly. This knit fabric is also nice because it's flexible but does not hug the unspeakable flabs. I am unsure of the sleeves. I might just take it off completely, but for this Fall, at least, it will do. I was never really drawn to the Idit but I had this fabric which I bought on sale and I kept trying to imagine it in different burda patterns and the Idit was the one that always stuck so I did. I did Idit and I love it.
