Description

A comfy jersey tunic top with contrast stitching and a decorative pocket. Semi-American-Apparel-inspired, but with a more handmade or crafty feeling.

Sleeves have a small inverted pleat at the shoulder seam for extra give, and the hem of the sleeves and top itself are left raw since the material does not unravel. This top was draped directly to the dressform.

Materials

olive cotton blend jersey, gutermann poly thread.

This is really simple yet cool and versatile! Whenever I look at American Apparel stuff, I always think "This is so ridiculously easy to make, why does it cost fifty bucks?". It's great to see others think the same way and try to make inspired cotton jersey pieces!
