I saw a nice jacket which inspired me to make this dress. The idea was to sew a dress with a belt that can’t be removed and I also wanted buttons. So I made a half-circle dress (which is shorter in front) and attached a belt which length is just the size of my waist. So because the belt is so much shorter it gathers the fabric into pleats. This dress was actually easy to make after I had thought out how to do it. Of course it takes some time to sew the buttons and buttonholes, but well, no zipper needed!

dress with buttonsDescriptionMaterialsThe belt is 100% cotton but I’m not sure about the green fabric ’cause it’s thrifted. But I guess it’s cotton too. And of course I used buttons too. Credits
